I needed a new pair of riding pants, since my old pair of Holden's were cut up on the bottoms from my ski edges. The vent zips are lined and offer great breathe-ability. When I purchased these I did not know they included a RECCO avalanche reflector, which was an added bonus!

I did do some back country hiking in April with these pants, and after a few hours they did feel hot and heavy, even with the vents open. These are made for more pow and colder riding.

These pants are light but warm. Vents are nice on hot days. Pockets hold camera, phone, ect. Waist sits low on hip. I had to wear a belt to keep the snow out of my pants. If you don't crash then low pants are not a problem. Very stylish I got a ton of commplements. They have recco system so if your mountain has the locator they can find you if your in an avalanche.
