High and dry, season after season, the Ride Belltown snowboard pants come with a 15k/10k waterproof breathable rating, fully Ttaped seams and all the Rideractive Features. The Belltown pants offer up a waterproof pant with banger style that will last season after season.

        About the reviewer:

        I owned a pair of Special Blend Strike snowboard pants rated at 10k waterproofing. These pants worked fairly well at keeping me dry and were the warmest pants I ever wore. Definitely wanted to get more SB gear.

        While looking, came across the Ride Beltdown pants. Not only were they a beautiful neon yellow so my friends could see me better, they were cheaper and offered better waterproofing than any SB pants I could find in my size range. Since the XL Special Blends were too big for myself, I went with the L Ride pants. Probably should have gone 1 size smaller, but these do fit much better than my old ones.

        One big thing with in my old pants was a wet butt. By the end of the day, 10k waterproofing just was not enough for the Mid-Atlantic warmer climate. These new pants have kept me dry in the warmest ski/snowboard conditions. The fit feels nice and loose, without feeling too baggy.

        The construction feels solid and I believe they will out last my Special Blends.

        Some cool features:
        - Fold down vent for access to BOA for quick on the fly adjustments - LOVE THIS!
        - Button to fold up pant cuffs to avoid stepping on them and tearing (had this problem on my old pants)

          The fit is like a loose cut in the legs, just that barely noticeable baggy fit. I have the 2010 versions and I could sit in the snow all day and not get wet butt syndrome. The 2012s I just got in look to be as good if not better quality this go round, with an opening in the gator for your boa's if that is your thing, its an added plus.

          These pants have been awesome so far. The bright yellow/green color is super vibrant and the material is very high quality. The only bummer is how quickly the pants show dirt, but the breathability is awesome and the water repellancy is even better. The cut of the pants is somewhat baggy, but not overly so. The pockets are nice and all have zippers or velcro under the button closure - real secure.
