Ride Alki Pant: You probably didn’t know that the word Alki comes from the Chinook word Wawa meaning “eventually” or “by and by” so basically the Ride Alki Pant will eventually be yours after you wait for shipping and for the snow to fall.       Bought for a recent trip to Heavenly during month of March. 10 degree weather, dumping over 36 inches in less than 2 days, and reaching up to 50-60 mph winds. I consider these pants a lifesaver. Kept me warm and dry while I fell alot the first couple days since I hadn't snowboarded in over 5 yrs. On the 3rd and 4th day, sun came out and crotch vent kept me cooled down. Got a couple compliments too on the style. I got the black ones that have a subtle design pattern on them, and these fit just right. Im 32 yrs old and not all into the overly baggy pants anymore. Enough pockets for most everything and items felt secure. If I had to nitpick, I'd say I didn't care too much for the adjustable velcro waist straps on the inside b/c when tightened the waistline can wing out. But there are belt loops so problem fixed and can look good with a cool belt! Plus, Ride has always been great in my book.

                  I love these pants! I ordered the XL and they are big in the waist. I don't need an XL, but I wanted a bit longer pant fit, and they have adjustable bungee velcro inside the waist that help. I throw on a belt and ride with no problem. Waterproof like no other. I can sit on the hill and wait for friends without worrying about my butt getting wet any at all. Not to mention they are bright purple and look crazy sick. I would recommend these pants to anyone out there who wants to look sick and stay dry on the hill.
