Comments about Patagonia Powder Bowl Pants:

Well constructed, excellent materials, great fit. If you are looking for a top end pant for skiing without spending the highest price on the market, this is the best choice. There are more expensive, and they may have some minor differences, but the additional $150 (or more) will not buy you any greater performance. I ski Mammoth Mountain allot and am exposed to every type of weather imaginable. This pant truly performs, is excellent product and an exceptional value.

Comments about Patagonia Powder Bowl Pants:

I look for a rugged ski pant that will work in harsh environemnts and a wide temperature range. Materials that breath, are water proof/resistant and stand up to abrasion from gear and rocks. I also look for gear that will last many seasons. Unfortunately, many of the sizing trends do not fit my tall slender form and in this case the pants in my waist size are a little too short. And the fit on the waist is dumpy. My old patagonia pants had elastic cuffs in addition to nylon straps, these only have loose elastic cuffs. The pockets are great and very functional. The vents are well placed and work well but could benefit from a high air flow powder screen. Fabrics and manufacture are high quality. When compared to the majority of other products on the market I hightly recommend especially if it can be purchased on sale.
