        Comments about Oakley Sethmo Pants:

Disappointed with these...fit is great and it's super water proof but I put a good size rip in the knee after one season of use. The material is too thin and will open up with moderate use or when hit with a ski or board edge. Material is about as thick as a potato chip bag. This is a true shell so it provides pretty much zero insulation. You will need to layer up really well on cold days so if you do buy the set up expect to add $300+ in layering to make it a true all season shell. It could use some more pockets in the pants and jacket. The fit and bib is superb though. It's just overpriced for the durability. I've ridden 27 days this season and had to patch it on my second day in it. The jacket is showing some wear as well.

          Comments about Oakley Sethmo Pants:

Super pumped on the Gore-Tex, Oakley finally got the best. It's a super simple pant that rivals anything other brands. I love that the suspender/bib zips out & that it's made out of a stretch fabric so it breathes and doesn't bunch. The pant's are so light, you will want to layer with a base layer at the minimum which there is plenty of room for. Being so light and thin I question how durable they were going to be. I have had no issues so far. The fit shy's away from that traditional, baggy Oakley fit opting for a much more fitted, technical piece, slender and long enough but not so long that the material gets in the way.

The features I have always like with Oakley's pants like the horseshoe inner thigh vent was kept, and then they added some more features that make these pants rad; Reinforcement in the heels to hold up longer while hiking over various conditions; Pockets in the bib and front, so everything is quickly accessible. Everything was well thought out on this pant, they trimmed that fat and made quite possibly the best 3 layer pant on the market for skiing.
