Comments about Mountain Hardwear Orko Pants:

I bought these pants to go snowboarding. I found them great overall for the price I paid (waterproof, plenty of pockets, good design, quality make). One drawback that I wanted to point out is that they could be a bit wider: they don't restrict your movements at all but when you wear them on the snowboard boots, they are just wide enough to fit; another inch in width would make the process easier. I had to struggle all the time to make sure they go right on the boots all around. Also, I am 5'8'' and wear small in everything and these boots could be maybe half inch longer to cover the boots all the way.

I wore them when it was ~29 and I wore a pair of cotton "paper" sleep pants underneath bc I don't like the feel of cold polyester. I never felt cold for a second. Overall, these are a great buy for the price, but you find something comparable without the flaws I've outlined - go for it.

Although these pants are pretty good, they are not too warm so you have to layer more when wearing them. I recommend a pair of soft shell or lined snowp ants over these

Terrifig product. Fit great, felt great. I liked that there were plenty of pockets as well as leg vents. Also the pockets were soft fleece lined so your phone/ipod didn't get scratched. Very nice touch.

Great Ski pant in our wet snow in Washington, make to layer underneath because it doesn't provide great warmth.

I teach in a ski school and work as a ski patroller every weekend. The Orko pants from Mountain Hardware were a great value from Evo Outlet Store at nearly one third off of the list price. These pants have been good for waterproofing and seem to be very well constructed. The pockets on these pants are at a good location, and the waterproof zippers look good. The tab and ring in the right pocket give me a place to clip my car keys into a zippered pocket so I won't loose them.
