I thought the liner would make them too hot also (and I'd have to strip it off) but they were just right and nice with the vents open, and I never got wet. [...] There's so much detail built into them, tonnes of pockets, and they feel really durable. I have the blue ones I had heaps of looks from peeps probably wondering what fool wears jeans up the snow, haha.

The color is a little weird. Supposed to look like denim - but, they missed the mark by just a bit. Super-utilitarian, though. Pockets everywhere, zip-in, wear on it's own liner, venting, adjustable gaiters... Did I mention that they're kinda baggy? Like, TOO baggy... for me, anyways. Quality built pants though.

Best snowboard pants I have ever owned! You don't notice their weight at all when you're riding. The Smarty liner is great when it's cold, and the venting is so efffective the pants are great even on the warmest days. The blue ones don't actually look like denim as claimed - but they look awesome anyway. The pockets are perfect because they are very well positioned. The cut of these pants is great - they even make my nasty butt look hot.

        Service and delivery comments:

A bit of confusion not being able to make an international order over the net but the guy on the phone was great and the buy was made with no hassle. They arrived in New Zealand 5 days later, exactly like he said. Well packaged. Free hanger! Sweet.

Comments about 686 Smarty Lowrider Pant:

These are the bulkiest pants I've ever tried on. Also, they're surprisingly heavy. Pocket design is weird, sort of tall and narrow, so not that useful. Legs are so wide I could get both my legs in one side, but then what would I put on the other side?

I had a chance to ride these pants, a week ago, and they rocked, super comfy and super warm, the day started out at 4 below and ended at 24 and i never had a chill. It was an icy day and I took a couple slides on the butt, I was paranoid about ripping or fraying the denim style pants, but it was a total non-issue. My only issue is I bought these pants when they were $[...]!
