Product Info

If you're looking to build out the ultimate downhill destroyer, you'd be foolish to overlook the Devinci Wilson Alu/Carbon Frameset. As the weapon of choice for DH legend and World Cup Champion, Stevie Smith (R.I.P. Chainsaw), the Wilson Frameset is precision tuned for rigidity, g-force inducing acceleration, and deft cornering control. Constructed with Devinci's lifetime backed Optimum G04 aluminum frame and a carbon DMC-G seatstay, the Devinci Wilson Alu/Carbon Frameset is the perfect foundation for all your gravity fueled fancies.

Frame/Shock

Optimum G04 Aluminum FrameDevinci's mountain bike program is a product of its unparalleled R&D experience. Top-of-the-line tube technology is adapted to Devinci's high-end mountain bikes, all offering the ultimate in acceleration, power transfer, control and stability. Lightweight G04 tubing is born of a tech blend of 6066-T6 aluminum combined with state of the art triple butting, high pressure hydro-forming and tapered CNC-machined headtubes. Frames built from Optimum G04 tubesets offer superior durability, incredible stiffness, and a knockout strength-to-weight ratio exclusive to Devinci bikes. Devinci's high welding and heat treatment quality standards, along with the knowledge gained from partnerships with the world-class industry research centres and aluminum producers, results in incredibly durable bikes. In fact, with more than 20 years on the aluminum frontlines, Devinci backs these frames with a full lifetime warranty.

Carbon DMC-G SeatstayEnter DMC Gravity technology and a carbon repertoire for rides built to flow fast and smooth in rock-ravaged environments. Mountain-specific Devinci Carbon Monocoque G technology uses cross-hatched and unidirectional carbon fiber layers, bolstered by high-strength epoxy resins and finished with a blast of Nano powder additive. This Devinci-exclusive recipe equates to ultra-lightweight frames, fine-tuned for knockout strength. Stand on the pedals, batten down the hatches, and watch dirt get demolished. DMC G. World Cup annihilator and Steve Smith approved.

Full Response GeometryFRG adjustable technology allows you to customize your ride to personal preference or specific trail type using a flip-flop pivot mechanism that changes the bike's geometry to either a low or high position. FRG bikes are quick and aggressive at lower speeds, with added stability at high speeds. Combined with a super low stand-over height, these agile, FRG bikes deliver precise handling and power transfer that reacts immediately and intuitively to rider input.

Axis Intelligent LinkDevinci Axis Technology marks the pinnacle of dual-suspension production innovation. Precision Quality Control testing results in perfect alignment—every time—that can be felt on the trail, nixing any built-in constraints stemming from the design process.

Split PivotDevinci Cycles was the first bike manufacturer to adopt Dave Weagle’s patented Split Pivot technology. Today it represents the core of Devinci’s full-suspension line-up. The genius of the Split Pivot suspension system is that it works in conjunction with you—the rider—for intuitive performance and a fully customizable feel. It harmonizes and maximizes bump compliance, traction, and efficiency—factors that are normally at odds with each other. The result is a buttery smooth ride with hyperactive small bump compliance and podium-crushing pedal stroke efficiency. The system is called Split Pivot because of its concentric rear dropout pivot built in line with the rear wheel axle, but there’s more to it than that.

RockShox Vivid R2C Coil ShockThe legendary Vivid is like a “Trail Whisperer.” Even in the most impossible situations, RockShox's most rugged coil shock always knows just the right way to get it done. Any trail, any time. Nothing shakes the Vivid’s confidence. From downhill racing to extreme freeride, the Vivd combines extreme durability with the precise adjustments that matter when you’re going big. Laser-etched controls let you dial in beginning and ending-stroke rebound as well as low-speed compression, making this shock fly through rock gardens as smoothly as it absorbs a sudden drop in altitude.

Counter Measure™Engineered For The Elite, the new Vivid conquers several once-thought-impossible engineering feats. Technologies like Counter Measure, which reduces the breakaway force of the shock to virtually zero pounds, transforming small bumps in to traction-generating performance.

Dual Flow Adjust™DFA’s kind of like Glam Metal. Two things you’d never think could go together, but somehow work like magic. Let’s say you’re riding a course with both monster drops and lots of braking bumps. Convention says you have to adjust your suspension to handle one or the other. RockShox DFA says no, use its dual independent damping circuits to tune it to handle both. Absorbing the big hits while staying plush through the small stuff, like makeup and metal.

Rapid Recovery™Who doesn't want more available wheel travel for successive hits? The Rapid Recovery System allows the shock to recovery faster between consecutive bumps, letting the wheel track the ground with greater precision. This more active suspension system, doesn’t pack up and enables the bike to ride in a higher and softer part of the spring rate. Rapid Recovery gives the rider access to more available wheel travel, bump after bump, to achieve a smoother and more controlled ride.
