          Very nice pair of mitts. I have owned Hestra gloves and mittens for many years now, and always thought they were the best. At first glance the POW gloves are not all the impressive - just wait until you wear them for the first time.

          I prefer gloves and mittens to fit under the cuffs of my jacket, and I have been searching for a good pair of mittens for a while now. These are very lightweight, and do not appear to have much insulation. I have been very impressed with their warmth to weight ratio.

          So far I have used these in all kinds of conditions, white out days, powder days, and very warm spring days. I would say these are great for anything 40 degrees and cooler.

          I think my Hestra's may sit on the shelf all next year.
