DaKine Titan Mittens

The DaKine Titan Mittens are part of the Dakine Global series, where classic design meets modern construction. The sleek design veils all the technology DaKine included in the Titan Mittens to keep your fingers happy all day. A GORE-TEX® membrane and high-loft synthetic insulation provide the Titan with enough warmth to flaunt a DaKine warmth index of 4 out of 5. If that's not enough, toss in a hand warmer to the waterproof zip stash pocket so you can ride out any storm with happy fingers. The Mittens feature slightly more insulation than the Titan gloves.

Rubbertec - This is a polyester substrate with a polymer based high grip surface treatment applied to it. In addition to being waterproof, it has excellent abrasion resistance for long lasting durability.

Fit

Pre-Curved Finger Construction - Performance articulation is achieved by shaping the palm pattern to fit the hand in the relaxed position. Performance articulation results in an optimal fit with superior blood flow to the fingers, leading to warmer hands.

Comments about DaKine Titan Mittens:

I bought these mitts because they were affordable and came with some very comfortable removable liners with grip. The fit with the liners is a bit tight, but I've never had to use them. These mitts are WARM! Been out boarding at degrees under 10 and, even without the liner they were perfectly warm (almost hot, even). Did I mention they're also waterproof? Yes, they are. Dragging hands in the snow, or even sticking them all the way in the snow up to the wrist simply results in the water beading up and rolling off. On the downside, these might be too warm for those warm days in spring, there are a vents on the top side of each hand, but I doubt that they'll be enough to really cool your hand if you were too warm.
