These mittens are great for skiing. I used to accept freezing, numb fingers as a fact of life on the slopes....not anymore! These mittens are totally waterproof, windproof, and toasty warm. Might in fact be too warm if your hands are inclined that way. Mine aren't.

I decided to try the mittens because my fingers always get cold on long days on the mountain. These are great! I typically wear a medium and bought a large. They are definitely too big so I would recommend not buying up a size. Also, I did not realize but they come with liners also. The liner gloves have grips on them which is nice. The mittens were difficult to get used to since I am used to having my fingers separated, so the liner gloves really helped. I also put hand warmers in the flaps above the glove, which were nice to have but not necessary since my fingers were warm anyways. All in all, a very good glove.

I bought these in a small for my daughter, who always gets cold hands when we ski. The combination of the liners, the warm outer shell, and the zip pockets for hand warmers has made a huge difference and far less frequent stops to the warming hut. She loves them and they're holding up very well.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how much warmer these kept my hands than my gloves did. I always get cold hands skiing and these helped a lot. I love that the liners came with them, too. Liners are great to have for taking your hand out of your mitten on a ski lift and not having it completely exposed to the air.

I bought 2 pair of these, 1 for me and 1 for my daughter. I replaced the inside glove liner with a mitten liner to keep our fingers warmer. With the inside glove liner on cold days my daughter fingers froze. But the inside glove liner is great alone on warm riding days.

Warm, comfy, good for cross country skiing, not for down hill. Gauntlets are short (3 inches) and do not come over jacket sleeve cuffs. Too short to tuck in far enough to keep snow out too. Good for walking, x country skiing, hiking... will keep you wan but you dont want to fall in the snow with these

These mittens were great for snowboarding when it was 11 degrees F outside, they kept me nice and warm (even though I'm still a beginner and wind up in the snow a lot). My hands were warm and dry the whole time, and the stretch glove liners are great - allowing me to remove the mitten and use my fingers while still being protected from the cold.

I'm a boarder in Maine and these gloves fit the cold, windy and wet conditions. Satisfied. The only thing I would change is the length of the cuff. I prefer a longer cuff to go over my coat. I have small hands and ordered the medium. I think these fit small, so order a size up for safe measure.

This product was an excellent value, and keeps my hands warm and toasty all day out on the mountain. The liners that came with are also very nice. The only thing is that when I wear the liners and the mittens, I don't have much flexibility to move my hands around... so I keep the liners around for when I am getting dressed outside, locking up my board, etc., but I don't wear them for the whole day of riding. Also, I wish the gloves came up higher on my arm, as then I wouldn't have that pesky crack between glove and coat sleeve where the snow can sneak in. But all-around, a great glove!

Love these gloves! They are warm and my hands stay dry. The lining fabric has snagged a bit on my velcro but otherwise they have held up very good. When I bought them I noticed that there is a zipper for hand warmers too that wasnt advertised! I would recommend these to anyone that is looking for a warm, dry mitten!
