New for this season, the Patagonia
Piton 1/4 Zip Jacket utilizes stretchy Polartec® fabric that wicks moisture, blocks wind and works great as a baselayer or midlayer for strenuous outdoor activities. This jacket is bluesign® approved and utilizes recycled materials in the construction with Polartec® Hardface® technology for increased abrasion resistance and Deluge® DWR for superior water resistance.
94% polyester (54% recycled) / 6% spandex
Polartec® Wind Pro® with Hardface® Technology - A warm, lightweight technical fleece that's four times more wind resistant than traditional fleece. The application is used to increase abrasion resistance and enhance the DWR finish for greater water repellency and performance.
Recycled Polyester - This material is made from recycled content such as scraps from the cutting room floor, old soda bottles and worn out garments.
Deluge® DWR (Durable Water Repellent) Finish - Patagonia's Deluge® DWR lasts substantially longer than standard DWR; garments treated with Deluge® DWR have a "like new" water repellency after years of wear.
bluesign® Approved Fabrics - Patagonia has worked with the independently-owned bluesign® to ensure environmentally friendly practices.
Glued Seam Construction - This unique construction method minimizes weight and speeds up dry time. Stitch free, glued seams improve the shell's performance by eliminating needle holes, a potential cause for leakage.
