          This is a warm & soft fleece jacket. In the Winter when I wear it under my insulated ski jacket it's a little too much extra bulk, but under a hard shell it's great. It will keep you warm! I have worn this when hiking in Vermont (up mountains in 30-35 degree weather and into snow)-- I wore it on its own with a patagonia capilene 1 layer underneath, and I was plenty warm. The sleeves would be a perfect length, but for my arm length the thumb holes land a bit too short for it to be comfortable. I still wear it that way sometimes but usually switch back after a bit. Overall a great hoody fleece that I can wear outside when I'm active or just lounging around in my apartment, or even at apres ski!
