Comments about Homeschool Snowboarding Shevil Hoodie:

So I grabbed this for a discount at some [@] a catch-all layer and comfort item (I like hoodies.) It's great; it keeps me warm, it breathes and doesn't stay soaked. I bought it because I wanted a hoodie to ski, climb and be outside in. I dig it for skating, skiing, climbing, camping and backpacking. This doesn't cut it alone for having a few cigarettes and beers out on the back porch after sundown- I need another layer. It works well, but isn't perfect. It isn't super warm, nor mid/heavy-weight. I have to put on a nano-puff or downy jacket over it if I'm standing still at a campsite while the sun goes down- rather, a wool pendleton feels warmer. Yet this and a shell seem to be fine for being on the move in the 40+ mph winds and ~15 degree temps at the top of Crystal. While it wont replace my MHW fleece for climbing endeavors (heavier, more wind-resistant, tougher, equally breathable,) I could see that as a possibility for some (the hoodie is lighter, could be combined with another layer, thin enough to layer with other stuff under a shell.) I wish that the hood had a drawstring. The hood seems roomy enough to fit over a climbing helmet. The pattern is just in the hood- that bit of liner doesn't continue down into the body. It is definitely not as thick/warm as other cotton hoodies that I own, and the synthetic/non-cotton nature doesn't make up for that. It resists stains and stank pretty well. It is comfy, but it is leisure fit- it stretches out below my shells and beyond my puffies/other insulating layers. I bought a medium as a 6'0" 175lb male- its a little baggy in the stomach zone.Props to a PNW company for producing a eco-conscious, laid-back, super-breathable, layering-type comfort item for my outdoor adventures. I wish it was a little shorter and heavier, but good job Home School. I'd buy your stuff again, but only at a discounted price.

I ride this jacket and it never gets wet. Most breathable mid layer out there.
