I'm 5'11", 175 lbs. with about a six foot wingspan and got a size large. This hoodie fits very well through the body and comes down to a little below hip level. I can't comfortably use the thumb holes, though - the arms could stand to be another inch or so longer. I haven't used the hood much, as it fits very tightly and makes me feel a bit like the nihilists off of The Big Lebowski.

I've used this as both a base layer and a mid layer. It works very well for both purposes.

I bought the hoody to be a light mid layer under my ski jacket and it it works quite well for that purpose. It is extremely comfortable and I find myself wearing it more and more often.

It's a good sweatshirt for moderately chilly weather. The hood is really small and awkward looking.
I'm not a fan of the thumb holes, but overall it is a great sweatshirt and worth it if it is on sale.

Great fabric for sports and to avoid smell on the cloth. Great presentation it comes in a little bag it was a present and it was liked :)

i'm really into baselayers with thumb loops and hoods for backpacking -they keep your wrists and neck warm- but most available are really techy looking. this is fine for in the woods, but if i want to go to town for a beer i feel like an idiot in performance gear. i saw this and thought, hey i could wear that on the mountain and to the bar!
i don't see the point of thumb loops if the sleeves only go to your wrist. besides that, it's not bad.

I bought one for my son and he ended up getting all three styles available (green, blue, and the black hoodie). He wears them constantly and says they're perfect for travel and they keep him warm snowboarding and fishing. Great product.

Great fit. I am 5'6" and pretty athletic.. nothing too bulky. I wear a small and it works great. I have long arms, so the thumb hole (a great addition!) was a bit tough to get to. Nonetheless, a great base layer that you can wear elsewhere.

The hood is nice and snug around the face too
