        Comments about Burton Midweight Shants:

        I love this shant. I've been snowboarding for years and have always hated that my base-layers would bunch up around my calf. Between my snowboard socks and my old base layers, it was uncomfortable to have all that material packed around my ankle and calf, inside my boot. I love the shant, it's the perfect length, hits just about where my snowboard socks end, so my legs and lower extremities stay protected and warm on the mountain. The shant is a little looser than I'm used to. Most base layers I've worn in the past were form-fitting, close to the body. This is a little baggy. It's no problem though. The shant I bought is a midweight. It's perfect for the temps at the hills I ski on, but they might want to consider a heavy weight option too for the blistering cold mountain days.

        Overall. Good base layer. Buy it.
