Wakeboard

Ronix William Intelligent Wakeboard 2013

Get ready for some snobbery. The Bill board's more intelligent cousin is here, and he's one of those guys that just insists you call him by his full name, but we're still willing to accept him because of the top-notch technology he's bringing to the table. The Ronix William Intelligent Wakeboard is designed with a lower, more subtle rocker line to increase speeds, reduce drag, and enlarge the sweet spot. From it's low-profile thin design to sharper sidewalls to increase water flow, each aspect of the William Intelligent Wakeboard is purposefully chosen to give you the most exhilarating ride on the lake. The true secret behind the this board is its intelligent core design. By combining two of Ronix's best foam cores with Maple stringers and parabolic paulownia, Ronix has achieved a new level of responsiveness not available from other construction techniques. Pair that with interwoven carbon fiber/fiberglass and monocoque construction, and you've got the board with the most responsive, fine-tuned ride you've ever ridden.

Product Details

Rocker Type

Late RockerAn exaggerated rocker line with a later arc and a higher degree provide a more straight up explosive pop. This style of rocker creates more of an instant explosive buck off the wake for riders that go behind a big boat wake. Wakeboarders riding behind smaller wakes will still feel like they are getting a solid kick as well.

A Less Is More RockerlineThe latest is rockerlines focusing on one thing-glide speed: By lowering the rocker, Ronix created more contact with the water reducing the drag. This also creates a super sized sweet spot with the most amount of surface area in Ronix's high end boards.

Shape

Thin profile reduces swing weight.

Hull

G&R TechnologyGrip and Release channels have all the traction you need for boat or cable riding without creating unneeded resistance with the water.

Rails/Edges

A more vertical sidewall pushes the tail out of the water for improved glide speed.

Core

Intelligent CoreBy combining two types of foam and two types of wood with carbon fiber and fiberglass, the Intelligent core offers unprecedented feedback and response to the rider. This construction technique creates boards eager for large wakes, long lines, and faster speeds.

Fused FoamBy bonding Mod Pour foam on the rails with Italian crafted machined foam down the center of the board, Ronix creates the most responsive board yet, ready to snap back as soon as it touches the wake.

Maple Stringer

Parabolic Paulownia

Monocoque ConstructionA wrapped glass from the top to the bottom means the flash line is no longer the weak point of the board and is now the strongest.

Laminates

Carbon and GlassBy combining carbon fiber and fiberglass into a laminate, Ronix has created a way for the two materials to work with each other for added liveliness and response.

Base

Glide SpeedParks Bonifay and Danny Harf have been experimenting with bases with more surface contact and less drag; they produced Glide Speed for an easier release off the wake and added speed and it has been putting smiles on riders faces ever since.

Sintered BaseThe most durable non-stick base material Ronix has ever tested on rails without loosing any glide speed on the water

Fins

4 fiberglass 1.0" fins

4 fiberglass .8" Utility Fins

Utility FinsThese go-anywhere, do-anything fins are just as happy carving on glassy mornings as they are getting bashed on rails during afternoon cable park sessions.

Additional Features

Suction CupsPlaced on the top deck, these increase the connection with the boots for added board response.
