Wakeboard

Ronix Code 22 Intelligent Wakeboard 2013

The Ronix Code 22 Intelligent Wakeboard has, hands down, all the best technology Ronix has ever put into a deck, giving the rider the most feedback. Made for and designed by former WWA world Champion Dean Smith, who arguably goes bigger than anyone else, the Code 22 has the most explosive core in the Ronix line. The liveliness of this board snaps the board into the rider as they leave the wake, without having the extra explosion of the Ronix Timebomb. The Code 22 delivers more top speed, with vertical sidewall, and is a faster version of Dean's Mana Rocker line from the 2012 line-up. The 2013 Ronix Code 22 has a slightly wider tip/tail for a bigger sweet spot on take offs and landings and a new tapered profile for more feel on the water and balance on rails. There isn't another board like the Ronix Code 22 on the market.

Rocker Type

Late RockerAn exaggerated rocker line with a later arc and a higher degree provide a more straight up explosive pop. This style of rocker creates more of an instant explosive buck off the wake for riders that go behind a big boat wake. Wakeboarders riding behind smaller wakes will still feel like they are getting a solid kick as well.

Glide SpeedMore water surface contact and less coefficient drag have forever changed the way we look at arcs in a board. Now a rider has the least amount of resistance, travels up the wake with more forward momentum, and lands with less impact. The lift comes from an easier release and the added speed.

Shape

New Reduced Rockerline HeightCommon misconception is you need added rocker for increased lift - this rail design and rocker naturally carries for more forward momentum.

Thinner ProfileCreates more overall energy and added rebound off the wake and softer landings

Rails/Edges

A more vertical sidewall pushes the tail out of the water for improved glide speed.

Core

Created for the rider that wants to upgrade their vertical travels with the most advanced new core

Fused FoamBy bonding Mod Pour foam on the rails with Italian crafted machined foam down the center of the board, Ronix creates the most responsive board yet, ready to snap back as soon as it touches the wake.

Maple StringerThis acts as the spinal cord of the board running down the middle of the core. It allows the use of lighter materials with more feedback without the boards collapsing like a traditional flex board.

Interwoven Glass/CarbonA revolutionary new blend and the first time that carbon is actually woven together with the glass - the result is the fibers working in unison and not independently. More feedback with the water from a stiffer lay up.

Arced WoodArced parabolic Paulownia wood helps transfer energy to the rail of the board for the rider that wants the most feedback both on the water and when leaving it.

Laminates

Magic CarpetRonix's secret formula of fiberglass materials woven together to allow just enough resin to bleed through and adhere to the core.

Base

Sintered BaseThe most durable non-stick base material Ronix has ever tested on rails without loosing any glide speed on the water

Fins

4 fiberglass 1.0" fins & 4 fiberglass 0.8" utility fins

Utility FinsThese go-anywhere, do-anything fins are just as happy carving on glassy mornings as they are getting bashed on rails during afternoon cable park sessions.

Additional Features

Suction CupsPlaced on the top deck, these increase the connection with the boots for added board response.

Liner & Lacing

Ronix Intuition FoamGenuine Intuition foam begins with only the highest quality raw materials. Stringent procedural controls are followed during manufacturing to ensure a consistently superior foam. The unique processing techniques employed produce a foam that has an unusually fine cell structure, which is very uniform throughout. As a result, tear strength, thermoforming properties of heat moldable foam (Intuition liners), and the pack out resistance (Intuition, Stage 1 and 2 liners) are dramatically improved versus traditional foam. There is also no filler added to these foams so Ronix can maintain the utmost quality.

Double Stuff FootbedHard on the outside, soft on the inside - an underfoot combination rivaling milk and cookies. The double stuff footbed allows your foot to naturally cant inward without dictating a specific cant angle.
