The Rome Garage Rocker Snowboard is here for hitting up park laps with the punk rock crew. The Bambooster Centerline Technology adds bamboo inserts from tip to tail to increase the pop of the board while also reducing the carbon footprint of using a plastic style insert. Be on the constant lookout for for things to ollie, slash, gap and bonk with the Freepop Rocker profile that increase pop even more and allows for superior jibbing. Stripped down, loud and rockin' it out!
Rocker Type
FreePop Rocker - With the flat section extending 5 cm outside the inserts, these boards have a park-to-peak amount of pop and edge control. At the same time, the rocker in the nose and tail give float in pow, smooth style on rails and stylish finesse off jumps.

Flex
Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - A medium flex to cover a large spectrum of terrain and demands from the rider
Sidecut
QuickRip Sidecut - Advanced sidecut geometry gives a short, playful feel at slower speeds and a longer, faster and more stable feel at higher speeds. The mid-board contact points end the running length at slow speeds and add grip at high speeds.

True Twin for easy switch riding.
Core
TTT Core Matrix - 100% Wood core from nose-to-tail for a classic snap with a proven continuous flex
Laminates
StraightBiax - Designed for the fun and creative rider, this laminate has a forgiving response through presses, jumps and jibs.
Bambooster Centerline Technology - This is the eco-friendly way of sending pop from under the bindings out towards the nose and tail of the board. Longitudinal response is added without increasing torsional stiffness.
Glass Reverse V Stringer - Reverse V configuration for straight ollie and nollie response without any torque
Base
XTRD - The standard of simplicity that is durable, quick, and made to stand up to the everyday beating—a 1.45 abrasion resistance holds strong and is easy to fix.
Binding Compatibility
Rome Snowboards will accommodate 2x4 and 4x4 insert patterns.

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.

Flex
The Mob Boss has the perfect combination of playfulness and power. This medium flex gives you the power you need for freeriding and the flexibility you want for freestyle.
Baseplate
V-Rod Baseplate - A V-shaped baseplate with a "rod" of edge-to-edge contact limits the binding's footprint on the board, which delivers three things: natural board flex, greater binding flexibility side-to-side, and full power from to toe to heel. You get the perfect blend of flex with pop.
V-Rod Unibody - 6 mm rise in the toe and heel
SubBase V-Pad - Partnered with the V-Rod baseplate, the 3D profile of the EVA and rubber sub-base pad fills the lifted corners of the baseplate for the smoothest side-to-side flex.
Straps
ConformGrip Toe Strap - Overmolded TPU grips the toe of your boot while conforming seamlessly to all models on the market.
Contour Ankle Strap - Plush feel for maximum comfort on long days with a dog-bone shape for flexible tweakage
Highback
Mob Highback - Slightly shorter and rounded near the top to create a playful support level that is needed for a skate feel that is lighter and has ample flex
Cant in the Back - Customization for control and comfort by adjusting the highback angle to match the natural curvature of your stance
Additional Features
Yes, I Cant System - Canting gives you more comfortable wide stances for more power over your nose and tail. Go with 3.5 degrees of canting, or run 0 degrees if you want to go traditional.
Rome Customization Foundation - Highback rotation, 9 Times Ankle Strap Position, Adjustable Toe and Heel Ramp, Forward Lean
Rome QuickTech Foundation - AutoStrap.2 Technology, QuickStrap.2 Technology, QuickLock Forward Lean

    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
