Rome Detail Snowboard - Women's 2011: New for 2011, the world’s original women-specific jib board has converted to the world of Poprock reverse camber. Always the most buttery board in the women’s collection, the Rome Detail Snowboard ups the press-ability factor for dialing in your 180-to-switch-5-0. And it works damn well for just an everyday nose press too. Flat camber between the feet also lets you lock into board slides.
Flex
This board has a super buttery feel and is perfect for jibs and jumps.
Construction and Core
The Pop Core Matrix is lightweight wood with a high “pop” factor for a dynamic, snappy feel. The Reverse Jib Camber is for those riders who prefer the park even on pow days; a flat profile between the feet and reverse camber from inserts to contact points for a board that takes pressing to a new level and delivers locked-on balance between the feet on rails.
Base
The Impact Base is extruded and fights against jib abuse
Sidewalls and Edges
The StraightBiax Laminate is tuned for butters, presses and catch-free landings.

Comments about Rome Detail Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

I went from one of the most stiff boards you could probably own right to this bored with ease. First day in powder was amazing and felt so natural, Unfortunalty that was my only day due to weather conditions and lack of snow. Icy spots and hard packed groomers take a bit to get used to and its easy to fall out because of the rocker. Cant wait for next season to really use it to its full potential!

Comments about Rome Detail Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

I bought this board to use while learning ground tricks and progression park features. My all-mountain board was too stiff for pressing, but the Rome Detail is buttery and flexible, and great for getting presses locked down. I've also found that the Detail holds an edge fairly well for a jib board, even in dust-on-crust conditions. I don't plan to hit up too many black slopes with this board, but it's good to know that I can ride the Detail on most of the mountain and in a variety of conditions without constantly washing out.

I wanted a more flexible board and I got one. I used it a couple of times this past season and it maneuvered and handled great! I mainly used it for riding so not sure how it is in the terrain park.
