Comments about Ride Yukon Wide Snowboard 2010:

I switched from a Burton Custom to this board because I am a big guy (6'1", 200lbs) and I instantly fell in love with this board. Nobody, skiers included, will be passing you on this board, it's fast. I dabble everywhere in it. Not great for the park due to the setback stance but you can still hit rails and jumps. Only thing I have had a problem with is that the emblem on the board came off twice and now is lost. No worries tho Ride is sending me a new one. Great board for bigger guys or if you have a large foot or just want a wide board. Oh and if you take through the pow bring an extra pair of boxers cuz you just float...

Comments about Ride Yukon Wide Snowboard 2010:

The Yukon is just an amazing board. I've been riding 17 years and have owned 6 boards (2 Burton, 1 Lib, 3 Ride). This is my 9th year on a Yukon and they pretty much rule. I've demo'd others and they really don't compare. The Yukon is a great, dare I say, amazing, all mountain board.

I will say that I'm in the parks about 10 minutes out of the season so if you're a park rider I'm not sure you'll love this thing, but from steep groomers to backcountry chutes, this board will make you a happy kid.

Comments about Ride Yukon Wide Snowboard 2010:

This board is gnarly on groomers, and big mountain terrain. It floats like a dream in pow. The stiff flex gives great pop and control. Being my first wide board, I found it got a to be a bit more of a fight when the snow got wet and choppy. Also, it would be nice if they tapered the ends from a sidewall construction down to a cap construction (like K2) just to add a bit of protection from skiers in lift lines. Overall, a hard-charging ride for bigger footed riders.

Comments about Ride Yukon Wide Snowboard 2010:

I was able to test this board out for the first time last night. I wear a size 12 shoe so the wide Yukon board was an awesome fit for me. This board is much faster and holds a line much better than my previous board (rossignol). The stiffness is just right for me not too flexible not extra stiff (probably a 5 or 6 out of 10). I would guess the stiffness is what makes it hold its line so well when taking a hard carve. I havn't tried powder yet but I can't wait with the added length and width of this board compared to my old one.

Comments about Ride Yukon Wide Snowboard 2010:

I searched long and hard before I finally bought this deck! I owned a Ride a long time ago and wanted to try some other brands overseas, but didn't have great success. I purchased this deck and immediately went to the local resort to put it through some speed work and hard edge paces. I love the edge to edge control, especially for bigger foot guys. the response was pristine and immediate. smooth and firm. when riding switch it handled very similar. I had bought this deck shorter than my powder decks for use on the resorts where I might "base camp" for longer backcountry trips. I loved this deck so much I'm planning on buying a longer deck for use in the backcountry.
