K2 Happy Hour Snowboard 2012: Every hour is happy hour with the K2 Happy Hour Snowboard. The versatility and pure fun of this board are enhanced by its Stabby Twin shape, balanced ride, great edge hold and insane graphics. Designed by the K2 team riders, this new deck is ready to hit the mountain and go crazy.
Construction and Core
The WH3 wood core adds two strips of Honeycomb™ material between the bindings and the rails for bonding strength and durability.
Hybritaper™ construction tapers out the core at the tip and tail for reduced swing weight.
Carbon Web™ enhances Flatline® technology by bringing the pop and snap of carbon closer to your bindings for maximum ollie power and control in every situation.
Ollie Bar™ is a 100% carbon element that lives in the center of the board and is molded in place pre-loaded with Camber for the most pop no matter the Baseline shape.
Shape
Stabby Twin shape has a centered stance for a progressive flex that performs all over the mountain.
Base
22ft half-pipe walls be warned, the 4000 Sintered base of the K2 Happy Hour Snowboard is the fastest natural base material available - get ready to boost. Exceptionally durable, it absorbs wax faster and retains it longer.
Trixial Glass laminate with diagonal layers stiffens the board torsionally giving you improved edge hold and increased stability for off-axis landings.
Demanded by the K2 International Pro Team, K2 pioneered the Flatline® base profile. Preloaded, stable, and turn-ready, Flatline® is exactly as sounds - a flat base, and creating a supremely balanced, smooth ride for both aspiring and accomplished pros.

Comments about K2 Happy Hour Snowboard 2012:

when you first look at the shape of this board, you don't know what to think. it looks pretty crazy. once you strap it and start downhilling you forget about the shape and just notice how fun it is. This board held up well at high speed. it was very surfy-feeling and made you want to slash everything. i'd imagine that it would be very fun in pow with the nose and tail shape it has. i rode the 154, but i would probably ride the 159 on a deep day.

Comments about K2 Happy Hour Snowboard 2012:

This board is AMAZING!!! I have been riding for 7 years now on everything from camber to banana. This is the first time i've ridden 100% flat base, and it's sick! So super stable at mach speeds. I had a Lib Tech Dark Series before this board which was super sketchy at speed, the Haooy Hour blows it away. The mellow sidecut makes for predictable carving blah blah blah.
It rides powder super well. I'm at Red Mountain in BC, we've had a few deep days here and the Happy Hour excels. Cliff drops? No problem. Rails? Yep, does that too. Pops to the max! The olliebar is no hype.It gets the looks in the lift line too with the stabby tips. The only problem is you can find yourself getting stuck in trees if you hit them too hard.....funny stuff.

I weigh about 180 pounds and ride the 157. I reckon i'd buy this board again. SICK!!!!
