The K2 A.M.P. Rictor Skis upholds high-end performance with a Titanal construction with the benefits of an optimal 80mm waist. Combined with All-Terrain Rocker™, the Rictor becomes the ultimate all-mountain charger. Expert skiers will love the versatility of being able to tackle off-trail crud or corduroy groomers.
Shape
All-Terrain Rocker™ - Designed for all snow conditions, featuring an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance and camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.

Progressive Sidecut - A combination of two different radii that enhances the versatility of wider-waist skis. This guarantees improved turn initiation and hard-snow performance.

Construction
Aspen/Paulownia Core - Aspen is known for its inherent strength and durability, while the Paulownia is eco-friendly and lightweight.
Metal Laminate - Consists of 2 sheets of lightweight Titanal running the length of the ski. Alternating layers of fiberglass and Titanal sandwich the wood core to provide dampened, accurate, and unshakable performance.
Hybritech Sidewall Construction - Built into the wider waisted Side models and combines the accuracy and powerful performance of a sidewall underfoot with the lightweight and smooth turn initiation feeling of a cap.
Additional Features
Mod Technology - A high-performance suspension system that absorbs vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge hold, power, and control. Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, leaving the overall ski flex unaffected.

Mod Monic - A focused mass-dampener made of a solid zinc mass that focuses mass dampening at a targeted location on the Mod structure.

Binding Compatibility
BINDING NOT INCLUDED.
We recommend a brake width that is equal to the ski waist width and at most 15 mm wider.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Carving
    All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.
    Carving
For those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber
    Rocker/Camber
Rocker/Camber skis pair a traditional cambered profile underfoot with an elongated, early rise tip borrowed from fully rockered skis. This profile places the front contact point further back from the tip, while the rear contact point remains close to the tail. The rockered tip allows for better flotation and less edge catch for increased float in deep snow, while the cambered rear stores and transmits energy similarly to a fully cambered ski.
  • Turning Radius: Short
    Short
< 16 m radius is best for carving.
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
  • Tail Type: Flat
    Flat
This is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow.

The Marker 10.0 EPS Ski Bindings are the perfect piece to complete your entry-level flat ski package. Featuring an updated two-linkage toe and a classic neutral colorway, the 10.0 EPS bindings are a solid choice for the beginning skier.
Toe Piece
Two-Linkage Toe - The two-linkage toe is designed to be light and durable while offering solid performance along with full lateral and backward release.

AFD Gliding Plate - All Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a movable AFD (anti friction device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality - from racing to junior bindings and even alpine touring.

Heel Piece
Comfort Heel - In the Comfort Heel, the release spring is inside the heel housing, allowing for a very compact design that focuses energy in the direction of the boot lug and provides an ideal release elasticity. The hollow axle helps with energy transfer, and ensures that the binding is lightweight and looks great.

Ski Compatibility
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Specs

  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
