The Monarch series has quickly become the staple of the Byerly wakeboard line up. Beginning with a mellow, Blended 3-stage rocker and shorter 9 inch molded fins, this shape is faster and releases off the wake quicker than previous Byerly models. New molded footbed contours keep the board rigid in the center to maintain the rocker line for consistent pop. The board then blends into a lean tip and tail for maximum flex and snap off the wake and when initiating edges. In addition to the new shape, the Monarch also features Byerly’s all new Biolite 3 core. This material is lighter and stronger than traditional foam core boards. The Byerly Monarch Wakeboard is a proven shape at a new lower price.
Construction
Reinforced Footbed Area
Double Lap Construction - This loads the perimeter of the board with extra glass making it more responsive and durable.
Layered Glass - Over time woven glass fibers will separate; a deck with layered glass will have the same snap after 5 seasons as it did the first.
Rocker Type
Blended 3-Stage Rocker - provides just enough speed while still maintaining great pop.
Shape
Wide/High Volume Profile - for crazy pop
Core
Biolite 3 Core - a specially formulated blend that has reduced the finished weight of the board by nearly 1/3rd and improved the feel of characteristics over a traditional core
Fins
Fins - 2 - .8 Inch Blunt
Additional Features
Molded-In Landing Feature

Comments about Byerly Wakeboards Monarch Wakeboard 52" 2011:

So hard to review with snow on the ground still- but made me feel like I may actually see summer soon. I have the 2010 model of this board and LOVE it! I am hoping once the removable center fin is gone they feel similar. This seems slightly heavier than my current one- but cannot say for sure as I dont feel like removing the boots to fins out.
