Every kid wants to be a super hero when they grow up, but why wait? With the Burton Super Hero Smalls Snowboard, they can show off their super powers all winter season long. This phenomenal freestyle board combines the critically-acclaimed float and fun of Flat Top with the Burton Scoop at the tip and tail. Super soft and playful, with a catch-free feel, the Super Hero Smalls is a dream combo of trick-landing tech that will have your kid progressing like a demon each time he steps onto the mountain.
Rocker Type
Flat Top - Burton's Flat Top snowboards are flat underfoot and a little beyond the bindings. This profile gives you ample stability underfoot, better balance and constant edge control. The tip and tail kick up slightly with an early rise outside of the feet so you gain that catch-free ride.

Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 3 Stiff) - 2 out of 3 on Burton's Kids' flex scale means a medium flex board that is responsive yet still forgiving for more intermediate riders and beginners looking to improve their skills.
Twin Flex - Having a twin flex indicates that your board is perfectly symmetrical in flexibility from tip to tail so you gain a more balanced and predictable ride.
Shape
Twin - The shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that's equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it.
Scoop - This exaggerated tip and tail scooping turns the edges up for a looser, more forgiving feel that adds catch-free fun when riding everything from a knee-high box to neck-deep pow.
Pro-Tip™ - A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Core
Super Fly - Lightened up and loaded with pop, this vertical sandwich of hard and soft woods saves weight and improves snap and response. Further optimized for float in Burton freeride focused boards and strength in Burton park-focused boards.
Laminates
Biax™ Fiberglass - Features a jib-friendly, torsion ally soft flex and forgiving, park-friendly feel.
Base
Extruded Base - An extruded base is full of speed, strength and amazing pop. These bases require little maintenance.
Edges
Rail Ready™ Edge Tune - Beveled so you can slide without hang-ups, yet still get grip for slashing and jumping.
Binding Compatibility
3D® - 3-Hole Disc pattern Bindings

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
Whether you’re a progressing intermediate exploring new runs and terrain, or an accomplished rider seeking new thrills, the majority of skiers and snowboarders fall into this level. Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.

  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Whether you’re new to the sport or working on linking smooth turns, you fall into this ability level. Typical beginner skis and snowboards are usually built with softer materials, narrower widths, and feature cap construction for an easy to turn, forgiving ride. Beginner-intermediate boots and bindings are also built for ease of use and progression, featuring softer flexes and in the case of ski bindings, quick and safe release from the ski in case of a fall.
