Many veteran ski tourers consider the Blizzard Zero G Series to be the future of ski mountaineering, and the Blizzard Zero G 95 Skis are the most versatile model in the lineup. Ultralight, but with the edgehold of a race ski, the Zero G is a tool for experienced skiers who appreciate the security it offers in the no-fall zone. Using Blizzard's new Carbon Drive construction, which wraps the tip and tail of the ski with a 3 dimensional sheet of unidirectional carbon fiber to increase torsional stiffness, the Zero G 95 is a far cry from the pivoty and surfy ultralights offered by other companies. If you're up to the task, the Blizzard Zero G 95 may be just what you're seeking for that burly first descent.
Rocker Camber Rocker – Ski profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.
Medium Stiff Flex
Tapered Tip & Tail
Ultralight Paulownia Woodcore
FlipCore Technology – While most ski companies start with a cambered core and bend it under heat and pressure in the mold to create rockered skis, Blizzard starts with a rockered, "flipped over" core that matches the ski's rocker profile in the first place. Make sense? It does to us.
Carbon Drive – Carbon Drive is the integration of a 3D unidirectional carbon fiber frame with an ultra-lightweight paulownia woodcore construction. The carbon frame’s 3D geometry guarantees optimal flex and torsional rigidity. The end result is industry leading lightweight products that deliver a level of downhill performance that is unprecedented in the world of alpine touring and backcountry skiing.
Two Layers of Light Directional Fiberglass
Superlight Fiberglass Next to Ski Base
Titanal Binding Interface
Sandwich Compound Sidewall – All Blizzard skis with the exception of some junior skis are built with ABS or Phenol sidewalls for superior performance (stability, power transmission, handling) and durability.
Edge Bevels – This ski is super grippy with the factory 1˚ base / 2˚ side edge bevels. Some testers have reported a more versatile set of characteristics with increased base edge bevels of 2˚ or more at the tip and tail and decreased side edge bevels of around 1˚. Your mileage may vary.
Custom cut Pomoca skins available separately
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Climbing skins are no joke; when you're two days from the trailhead with a lot of uphill miles to cover, you need skins you can depend on. Blizzard chose the best in the business when they decided to source their skins from Pomoca. Made with a mohair mix plush that combines the best of both grip and glide, with a dependable standard wire tip attachment and easy to adjust tail strap, each size fits two lengths of Blizzard Zero G skis.
Mohair and Nylon Blend Plush
Universal Steel Wire Tip Attachment
Universal Tail Clip
Ever Dry DWR Finish – Helps keep the plush fibers from adhering to snow
Safer Skin Light Membrane – A waterproof barrier between the plush and backing keeps the skin from absorbing water.
Standard Pomoca Glue – Not to sticky, not too easy. Goldilocks loves this glue.
Blizzard Zero G 95 Specific – Cut to match the Zero G 95 skis in the appropriate length. Short fits both the 164 and 171 lengths, long fits the 178 and 185 lengths.
