Arbor Steepwater Snowboard 2016
You don't win the Verbier Extreme five times and ride any old board. The Arbor Steepwater Snowboard was built in collaboration with Steve Klassen, big mountain snowboard pioneer. The Steepwater is built for power and control at speed on steep, exposed terrain. The full camber profile supplies you with the edging and pop you demand in gnargnar situations, while the directional shape is stable when rocketing out the bottom.

Rocker Type
Full Camber – A modern version of the classic camber that many riders grew up with. Like the classic, it offers more stability and grip because more of your board is in the snow when it’s set on edge. Unlike the classic version, this profile offers more float and speed in soft snow thanks to a smoother transition into the nose area.
Flex
Stiff Flex – Performance at speed and through variable, big mountain terrain. Expect Ferrari like acceleration and control.
Shape
Directional – A slight stance setback combined with a directional shape provides you with a surfy ride in deep snow. Directional boards also give riders ample control and stability when dropping through chutes or landing big airs at high-speeds.

All-Mountain All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice. Freeride Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction. Powder Powder snowboards love powder. Often associated with freeride snowboards, powder boards sometimes feature a wider nose and a tapered narrower tail. The binding inserts, which determine the rider's stance, are often set back on a powder snowboard to help the rider float the tip of the board through the deep stuff. Powder snowboards sometimes also feature rocker, a design element where the tip (and tail) rise starts farther back on the board, which also helps the rider maintain tip float through the pow.

Attitude and Terrain – Flow bindings are designed with an idea or direction as to where they will perform best. Every binding has a different feel and terrain type associated to it, allowing you to make a decision based on your preferred terrain and riding style.
Baseplate
Aluminum Alloy Rockered Baseplate – Engineered to transmit energy directly to the board without loss of efficiency. The minimized contact area with the board channels your power where it needs to go while the rockered corners of the baseplate allow any type of board to maintain optimal flex.
BankBeds with OC-Kush Impact Inserts – BankBeds are full-length EVA-footbeds with 2.5 degree canting for optimized fit, support and energy transfer. Featured on the NX2, Fuse, and ISIS series.

Glass Filled Nylon ModBack – The modular hibacks separate the lower and upper zones for targeted strength, support, and flex where you need it. The GF-Nylon Mod-Backs offer a lively and fun feel.
