I love these jeans. They are my third Elwood purchase and I love them for a few reasons.

First, like all Elwood Jeans, the fit is money. They don't hug my thighs and restrict movement, a common problem. The length and waist fit as expected (normally a 34 x 32 and this size fits spot on).

Second, the pockets are good sized. Not so deep I'm up to my elbows but deep enough to easily handle the castanza wallet, keys and iPhone.

Finally, I like the details. Elwood stamps the pocket rivets and button with the longhorn steer emblem. Nice. The "Dark" option (which I purchased) is more of a dark blue and it has really slight threads of orange throughout (I'm color blind, might be something else). They are really subtle but give the jeans a nice worn in look without looking ratty or old. They look new but comfortable. Get it?

My only complaint with Elwood is they usually only last a couple of years before they start to show wear or have some issue. I've had my front right pocket blow out on two pair about 2 years in and on another pair of cords the top button popped out after about 6 months. That said, I'm hard on my stuff so it's somewhat expected. Also, I feel like their price points are within range to tolerate it. Plus I love the fit and styling.
