      Some gear looses water resistance after one season, not Trew Gear! I have been riding in their gear for three seasons, and it still holds up on the wet and cold storm days. I will keep using trew gear because of the way it out lasts other companies' outerwear.

      I got this jacket mid last year and haven't put it down since. The bomb proof design stands up to sharp sticks, the occasional rock scramble and anything else you can throw at it. For a back country coat it can't be beat. With no insulation it is easy to pack, layer with and withstands anything you throw at it. Large hood fits a helmet and can be cinched down when you aren't rocking it. Roomy cuff's allow you to easily cover your gloves while the wrist pocket is perfect for electronic tickets. The minimalist design has two well placed pockets on the chest and enormous pit zips to keep you vented. I am 6'1 and have a large. Everything fits great except I like to have a longer cut at the waist, size up if you do too.
