I bought this jacket a size bigger than normal so I could layer it with a sweatshirt in cooler weather. Here in the pacific northwest, you never know when it's gonna rain, so this jacket is perfect. The rain doesn't seep through the jacket at all. It's super lightweight yet surprisingly warm and easy to fold up and stow if not needed. Fits easily into a large purse or shoulder bag. The colors keep it fun - instead of boring black all of the time. And the hood is so necessary.
