This is a great jacket and I highly recommend it to anyone searching for a versatile and stylish 3-in-1 winter jacket who isn't trying to look like all the other people wearing North Face or Columbia. Both the outer and inner shell look great worn separately and together they are warm and comfortable. The fit is exact, but be warned that the jacket isn't quite long enough to be worn on the slope. The arms are perfect length for me, something I usually have a problem with since I am a slim 6'0" with a 6'2" wingspan.
The only negative thing about this jacket is that when worn with both layers it is more difficult than it should be to lift your arms above your head.
As a casual multi-season jacket the Carson Field Jacket is perfect, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a ski or snowboard jacket, or of you are looking for something that can be worn to do many physical activities.
