Comparing this to the Burton Giselle...
I'm 5'5" petite + thin.
Its lightweight, rain jacket material, many pockets to hold all your stuff. Comfortable true to size fit and nice length. Added details like buttons, glove holders on the shoulders (i think these are called eplites?) true black (the picture looks like a nice hardy gray) Again, rain jacket material quality. I don't know if this would last long if I took it out for hiking or outdoor work; seems like it would tear easily if snagged on a branch or something. Hoodie has cheap faux fur and it does not fit well; not attractive (I have a small head and it barely covers it) I wanted something versatile for snow and rain; I live in Portland Oregon. This jacket is not as warm as Burton, quality not as nice, but the fit is attractive. I think it would keep anyone from getting wet and its stylish for boarding or casual wear. I have yet to test it in snowy or rainy conditions. If only Burton + Nomis could get together and put their two designs into one! I would pay extra for that jacket! Nomis Daze needs higher quality material, an added thin layer for a touch of warmth, and a bigger hoodie...then it would be my perfect jacket!
