Purchased to add to a suitcase for a late winter trip abroad... more worried about wind and light rain than anything else. This jacket was just great -- looked good, weighed little and did the job!

I use my HH Packable mostly for commuting to work at the light rail station. I also wear it out for hikes and kayaking. I have had a HH Packable jacket since the early eighties and recently purchased my third. I had some coating problems with an earlier one but was quickly replace under warranty. Great customer service from Helly Hansen. I am just shy of 6' tall approx 180lbs and the large jacket, though not snug doesn't fit over more than a simple sweater or light fleece. That makes it good for layering in my Sacramento climate but not for colder wet weather. I wish it was longer in the tail but it is a "jacket" so no decpetion there. Great jacket, excellent breathability and low price in comparison to gore-tex. I'm looking for HH breathable pants now.

My other HH Raincoat was stolen--says soemthing about them--and I was very disappointed, but this one is even better--especially the hood which stays up much better even with fastening. T[It took me a while to find the right replacement, but the color, comfort, and rain protection is terrific.

I use the product during the Fall and Spring rains that come to SW Florida--and this jacket is even better than the one I had that was lost/stolen. This jacket is even light and flebible enouth to wear for golf on a rain shower day. The hood stays up without fastening much better than any raincoat I've ever had, And you look stylish weraing it. It's great

My wife bought me a stylish and very functional HH Raincoat a few years ago--it got stolen (I shoulod have expected that) and I didn't think that I'd find a suitable replacement after searching for a while. I finally found the Seattle one and the colors and fit were even better than the one that was stolen. A positive out of a negative. The hood even stays up much better in the wind even without buttoning.
