I bought these for my 12 year old daughter in Azalea Pink in size XL for Christmas and she loves them! They are very warm and the color is amazing! Very flexible and easy fitting! The only down side about them is that the waist band was too big for my daughter but there as velcro tighteners on the pants and when we tightened them all the way, they were still a little loose. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this product!

My daughter got to tears in the knee within a month. The color still bleeds out after 4 washes. The rocket red is awesome and all her gear matches and now we have to start all over because the pants are garbage. My kids have all gotten 3 years out of their Columbia pants without any holes. I assumed these would last as well.

Too short

By

from Undisclosed

Comments about The North Face Freedom Pants - Girls':

I agree with "too short" review by the other reviewer. I ordered XL for my 14 year old daughter. The pants were way too short and way too wide. Really bad sizing! Think twice before ordering if your child is 5'8" or taller.

TOOOO Short!!

By

Comments about The North Face Freedom Pants - Girls':

These pants are a great color (for girls) and feel of them was very warm! The main problem is that they are WAY to short especially to fit over ski boots. NorthFace needs to make the girls pants longer for no likes to wear high waters on the slopes!! ;)

Comments about The North Face Freedom Pants - Girls':

My daughter is average height, if not on the shorter side and thin. She is 11 and 4ft 8 , 68 lbs and ordered a 10/12. Way way to short and feel off her waist.

I love these pants! I'm 5'3 and approx. 120 pounds. I bought these in a size large and they fit very well. The size chart was extremely accurate. I had to take out the red threads at the bottom in order to extend the pants, but afterwards the length was perfect. If I was more than an inch taller though, they would definitely be too short. The waist was a little roomy but the velcro tabs to take in the waist hold up well and overall, the fit was good. The price was also great for the quality. The lining doesn't seem wicking, but I always wear cold gear compression/wicking leggings inside my snow pants. Overall, definitely recommend this pant!

I bought these pants for my daughter as she outgrew her previous ski pants. They were a medium so naturally, I went for a large this time around. The waist was way too large, luckily, it's adjustable but it's still a little too big for her. The length was perfect. Just to clarify, my daughter isn't exceptionally skinny or unnaturally tall so the pants just run large around the waist.

                          TOO SHORT

                          By

Comments about The North Face Freedom Pants - Girls':

My daughter loves North Face but their girls pants are always too short. Some of her friends buy the North Face Jackets but other brands for the bottoms. My daughter likes to match though. Every year we buy these pants and I have to let down the "Room to Grow" part of the leg right away and they are still too short. We can't go to a bigger size because then the waist is WAY too big. My daughter is average size and this is the only brand where we have this problem.

Comments about The North Face Freedom Pants - Girls':

Both my children have been in TNF winter gear since they were 6 months old. This is the first year my 5 year old daughter may not be in TNF pants as they are SO short!!! We have never had an issue with pant length before. Theses 6 is humongous around her waist, even with the velcro tabs, but the bottom of the pant falls at the floor without her wearing boots. Once she has boots on they will be floods. Not sure what we will be doing as these just don't work anymore.
