Product Details

Face Fabric

100% Polyamide

Membrane

Toray® Dermizax™Entrant® Dermizax™ moisture control fabric utilizes its ultra-thin monolithic membrane's polymer molecule movement to efficiently absorb perspiration vapor buildup from the inner surface and effectively disperses it throughout the fabric.

Insulation

Thinsulate™ InsulationThe original warmth without bulk insulation, Thinsulate insulation provides up to twice the warmth of other high-loft insulating materials and nearly one and a half times the warmth of down.

Strategic Thermal RegulationSTR places insulation where you need it in cold zones - the insulation weight varies depending on the area of the body - and uses performance mesh in hot zones. This strategic placement ensures your garment will keep you warm and dry without unnecessary bulk.

Comments about Scott Harmon Jacket:

Like other reviewers I am normally a Medium but after reading the reviews ordered a large - and glad I did. It's much thinner than my last jacket and as expected not as warm. Adding 1 extra layer should do the trick.

The sleeves have a neoprene end portion with thumb holes which really help keep out air. I did not see that mentioned in the product description.

The only con is the zipper is difficult to get started - I think the convenient dual-zippers are the issue.

          Comments about Scott Harmon Jacket:

Fit is form fitting, not baggy. Jacket is pretty warm but not bulky. I use it with just a polar max fleece under it on 15-20 degree days skiing here in Montana. GREAT price from Evo, well worth the money.

          Does the job well

          Comments about Scott Harmon Jacket:

Ordered mainly due to high waterproofing, moderate-high breathability (+pit zips), and slight insulation all below 150 bucks for a ski jacket. 5'8" 170# was very hesitant to order up a size since I always wear mediums, but am happy I did following numerous other site reviews. The L fits perfect with enough room to layer 2 underneath on colder 0 deg days. Warmer 40 deg days just a t-shirt. Only negative is that the hood is very snug with helmet.

Great jacket. Looked even better then I thought. The blue really pops! Well made and versatile for any weather on the mountain. I've used on a 10 degree and 40 degree day and it's was fine for both.
