Comments about Orage Gallery Jacket - Women's:

I was looking for a waterproof and insulated jacket for snowboarding (mainly in Lake Tahoe, CA). The temps don't usually get below 20s. It might be slightly too insulated for the conditions I usually ride, however the insulation keeps me warm in the wind when I'm riding on the lifts. I rode twice in this jacket in spring conditions (38-46F) and it had excellent waterproofing, good butt coverage when bending over/sitting to strap-in, lots of pockets (except the two chest zippered pockets are too small for my hands, I don't have man hands so they seem like a bit of a waste), I got the cream color but was more of an oatmeal color than a cream (it has a textured look which is awesome as it hides dirt better), pit zips are key, high collar blocks the wind burn. I definitely got sweaty in this jacket in spring conditions, but the pit zips help and I only had to wear a long sleeve shirt underneath to be comfy.

I am 5'6", 130lb, broad shoulders/athletic build. The small was PLENTY roomy for moving around and layering. The sleeves are even a bit long in the small and I have long monkey arms. The cut of this jacket is ultra stylish, feminine and CUTE, good for apres ski! I got many compliments on the mountain. The only drawback is that because it has insulation, it is pretty heavy and feels slightly bulky at times however it is not heavy to restrict movement or feel tiresome to wear. ENJOY!
