Purchased this jacket when learning to snowboard. It is a longer length and covers the butt - great for all the time spent sitting in the snow. Also has a powder skirt with rubber trim that snaps on to snowboard pants to prevent snow from getting onto your base layers. Skirt is not removeable so the snaps are a little bulky. There is no zip-out lining but the coat was still warm snowboarding in 20 degree weather.
There is a clip inside one pocket to attach keys so you won't lose them. Inside zip pocket has a colored zipper, enabling you to verify that it is zipped and you don't have to worry about losing your stuff. It also has a spot for a headphone cord so it won't get all tangled.
There is a detachable hood that is large enough to fit over a helmet.
It is also stylish enough to wear out to a casual dinner or around town.
I gave 4 out of 5 stars because the sleeves are a little long when you're not wearing gloves, so I had to tuck them under, and the cuffs are white so they were dirty after the first wearing. Also, the zippers are a little tricky to zip - the main front zipper seems to bulk up around the skirt area and the pocket zippers get bunchy when there are gloves or something inside. The zippers still work - they just get a little tricky. Also, could use one more inside pocket.
