Love this coat…. It was a little heavier than expected, but is a great through back to Burton's 1993-ish, ¾ length Universe coat (I still toss that one on now and then). This one has a hint of the classic style of a barn jacket. Fully functional both on and off of the mountain. Ample and highly functional pockets with a slick tucked away design. Snuggly warm in the single digits, but if it gets a little too cozy, just open up the under arm meshed zips and the temp equalizes right out. Not too sure how it will handle a wet snowy day, but can't wait to test it out.

This jacket looks like an old hunting jacket. Green olive exterior with the bright orange lining. Only this one is perfect for the board. Keeps you so warm all you really need is a t-shirt. And even after a soaking snow storm you stay very dry. It is more heavy weighted than other jackets, but I never feel like it's gonna rip or let me down. And even though it's a bit heavier, you'll have no problem hitting all your jumps or moving your arms freely without a second thought. And it looks good in the bars for a little apre ski without feeling like the dork still wearing his super technical gear. Bottom line--it's brilliant.

This jacket is great if you are on the tall or slim side. I am 6'3" and 190lbs and Iam basically a large except for sleeve and torso length. I usually have to buy large and live with short sleeves and torso. Or I buy an XL and end up having a baggy jacket. Because this jacket is longer in both the sleeves and torso, the fit is perfect for me. The jacket is well made and kind of has a faux retro look. My only gripe is that the hood is a little small with my helmet on. It is also more of a shell with thin insulation as opposed to a really warm stand alone jacket.
