Armada Radar Insulated Jacket: Armada doesn’t do learning curves, and examining the outerwear produced from their first year in the business bears witness to that fact. With all the features of the Radar, but with some serious insulation to keep you toasty during big dumps.

  • Megarex fabric is a two layer fabric with a microporous waterproof/breathable coating and DWR (durable water-resistant) finish. Megarex is extremely durable and delivers excellent waterproofing and breathability.
  • Reactive Hood System features external and internal access, quick-release tabs, reinforced brim and an ergonomic hood profile
  • YKK water repellent zippers eliminate any chinks in your waterproof armor
  • Button jacket-to-pant interface connects to Armada pants via an adjustable, stashable powder skirt with Lycra suspension
  • RECCO Avalanche Rescue System:Two parts—reflector and detector—enable rapid pinpointing using harmonic radar, but is NOT a substitute for transceiver use

    Comments about Armada Radar Insulated Jacket:

    Just got this today and can already tell it's a sick jacket. Did a waterproof test and the jackets could repel a hurricane. The insulation is thick and warm in the chest, but since there is less insulation in the sleeves it feels slightly unbalanced. In reality though, this is just a weird feeling you have to get used to and not a problem at all. The only bad thing is that when the powder skirt is used, it makes the jacket bunch up in the middle and looks really really weird, so just don't use it.
