      Comments about Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket:

I have had the Stingray for a month now, and used it spring skiing in the Sangre de Cristos twice. Both times the morning started out around 26F but warmed up to around 40F during the day. I had a thin baselayer and a moderate fleece over that, and the Stringray was warm enough that I had to shed the middle layer after noon.
The shell appears to be tough and (as always with Arcteryx)very good looking. The lining is very thin but effective and I like that it is smooth, so it doesn't catch on fleece mid-layers.
I am 5'9" and 150lbs, medium build, and the jacekt fits perfectly except that the sleeves are slightly too long, but not enough to cause a problem. I also wish Acerteryx would use dual zippers on the main zipper as it is nice to be able to open up a little from the bottom sometimes. All in all, though, this has become my favorite spring skiing shell.

        Comments about Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket:

We Live in a rain forest that averages 170 inches per year! So we know a quality rain gear product when we find one. Arcteryx was first recommended to us by a friend, but the cost seemed prohibitive. Tried other brands, money down the drain! When my son and I began training for a long hike, we invested in the Stingrays and were so happy with them in the rain & snow.So happy in fact that this purchase was for my husband who also spends a great deal of time outdoors, working the docks, and walking etc...WORTH THE INVESTMENT!
