The 686 Smarty Complete Jacket utilizes 686's Smarty® technology. Smarty® technology enables the wearer to have the option to wear the jacket in multiple ways. The lining is detachable, so you can either wear the liner by itself, attach the liner to the shell for extra warmth, or wear the shell on its own for warmer transitional weather. The 686 Smarty Complete Jacket goes beyond 686's normal 3-in-1 Smarty® technology by being a complete 7-in-1 jacket. The jacket includes two removable linings, a vest and a Smarty® jacket. With so many options on how to wear this jacket, you'll be comfortable in any condition.

Infidry-20™ - This microporous fabric coating allows for moisture to exit but not enter. The fabric goes through a 3-step waterproofing process to ensure it stays soft and supple while adding durability.

Jack fit true to size and length was excellent. Wrist gaiters are awesome and really help keep snow out. Triple layers really help out and makes for a extremely warm jacket. The main problems I have with this jacket is the cuff and the skirt not being long enough. The cuff Velcro is just not sufficient and there isn't enough to keep the Velcro to stick. Also the skirt is not long enough to keep snow out with the two under layers attached making the fleece layer hang below the jack and catches snow. Other than those two issues I had with the jacket it's a great jacket and has a bunch of pockets for storage and hilariously has a mirror in the right cuff. I love the jacket and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great all around jacket.

    This is a triple layer insulated jacket. It is meant for the extreme cold, like 0 F. It is slightly bulky because of the three layers. It is warm. I could remove the layers one by one if it gets too hot.
