Comments about 686 Pexus Hydra Thermagraph Insulated Jacket:
This shell is outright amazing. I live in Vail and have used it as my go to regardless of weather conditions. From 0f to 55f this thing kicks butt. When down below 30f it does require layers but they are minimal. At 0f with 20mph winds I wore an Icebreaker everday underlayer and a thin wool sweater. Never even got cool.
The angular front zip is perfect, acts as a gaiter when you want, folds to the side when zipped down. Thoroughly impressed by this product. Even running tree lines it hasnt torn from the inevitable snags.
Only issue would be the awkward location for an audio player, have to open jacket to get to. But thats a minor issue for me, hardly worth mentioning. And fastpass pocket is great for frequent riders at rfid equipped mountains.
Wore this thing everydady I rode and have no complaints, only praise.
