    Comments about Smith Variant Brim Helmet:

    We ski Utah annually, for 10 days to 2 weeks at a time. While we don't hike to ski, we do ski most of what Alta has to offer. For that reason, I have worn one particular helmet (for downhill skiing) for quite a few years. I was ready for a change this year. The Variant Brim helmet was a real find, and is a great replacement for my original helmet. It fits better; is more stylish; has better and easier to use ventilation; to name a few Pros. I cannot think of any Cons to-date.

        Does not work with goggles, when in the raised position the goggles slingshot backwards. A total waste of money for what should be a high end product not just high priced.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
