Smith Vantage Helmet

Pushing the boundaries of helmet technology and style, the Smith Vantage Helmet gets the edge on the competition through its low profile design. With a multitude of ventilation zones to maximize climate control and the AirEvac 2 Ventilation that connects the vents and internal EPS channels, the Vantage does more than just keep you cool. The Vantage seamlessly integrates with goggles to eliminate fogging and is the perfect blend of performance and style.
Vents
21 Vents
Internal airflow can be adjusted through the helmet’s regular climate control system.
AirEvac 2 Ventilation - Connects shell vents and internal EPS channels to increase airflow and evacuate warm, moist air to prevent goggle fogging. Cool, dry air is constantly pulled into to the goggle as the warm, moist air is exhausted over the wearer’s head and out the rear of the helmet.
Construction
Hybrid SL Shell Construction - Combines two separate lightweight and durable shell materials optimizing the favorable characteristics of each resulting in a minimal volume, lightweight and safe helmet. Vent shutters slide directly below the shell surface leaving a sooth, clean surface when closed.
Goggle Compatibility
Removable ultra-light goggle lock securely retains the goggle strap on the helmet to ensure stability, comfort, and performance.

Adjustable Boa® Fit System
Snapfit SL Ear Pads - Ergonomically designed to be extremely lightweight, form fitting and comfortable, and are made for easy on and off.

Low profile dual regulator adjustable climate control

      Awesome helmet. I went to a local store and tried on a bunch of different brands. This one fit the best out of everything I tried. I am an instructor, and I was lucky enough to get it on proform. Otherwise I would have bought this from evo at full price. It is worth it. The helmet is super comfortable, lightweight, and has a sick low profile look. It works great with my oakley splice goggles.

            I'm a first time helmet user after 30 years of sking.
            I found this helmet very light. It didn't bother me at all. ( It was a cold day in the teens )
            I'm not sure about warmer days. However it does have great vents and they seem very easy to opperate.
            The Boa fit adjustment realy works well.
            If it came with some type of pads to slip in and costomize the fit it would be even better.
            ++++ I used some small pads that came with a bike helmet. They made the fit perfecto.

                  If you get this helmet, get the smith I/O goggles with it, they fit against the helmet seamlessly which makes for a great day of riding without snow flying up into your helmet or ears.

                      The first time I skied with this helmet the tabs used to open and close the vents broke off. I am not sure how this happened. Smith apparently used a cheap, brittle plastic to make these tabs. Don't they know this is a helmet and it is going to get knocked around. I wouldn't purchase another one.
