basic good functioning helmet. My only complaint is not having protection over the ears. But thats just a preference i guess.

A great helmet, I had a problem determining the size helmet I should buy since my head is 58cm, Medium size is 56-58cm and Large was 58-60cm. However, I chose the Medium and the helmet fits well. I plan on using this helmet when biking in the summer and use the summer pads which fit snug. For snowboarding, I put the thinner pads with a facemask to get that snug fit and to keep my head warm.

This is my second Smith Holt Park Helmet by Smith and I love them. I decided to paint and decal this one up with "Red Bull"!! Awesome for the ski hill!

I owned the first Holt helmet Smith ever made and it fit ok, but made my head feel gigantic. Most helmets make my head feel huge. They've fixed that problem with this one. Sleek and simple, no unnecessary ear pads or anything else. Lightweight, and true to size. My balaclava and goggles fit underneath perfectly.

I ski a lot of park so having a simple accessory-free helmet to just throw over a hat and goggles is what i need. That is not to say this helmet is only good in the park. After using this helmet for 4 years it has done equally well skiing the rest of the mountain including some backcountry trips during all conditions. Lets face it, who needs a helmet liner and ear-pads that doubles the cost of a helmet when you already own a perfectly good hat.

On my second holt and still love it. With the park option it gives you a nice price for people who would take the ear pads off anyways. Protects my noggin and it looks good, what else does a helmet have to do?
