overall, this is a pretty good helmet, and it's better yet if you can pick it up at end of season prices. i (fortunately) can't vouch to how well it stands up to impact, but it's lightweight, the venting works well (warm when closed and noticeably airier when open), and it's not overly bulky like other helmets i've worn.

there are two things i don't like: the first (and more important) is that the earpads squeeze my ears a little bit. it's uncomfortable at times, but i usually tune it out fine. to be fair, the tight fit around the ears is actually a boon for keeping earbuds from slipping out. ;) second, the graphics are a pretty lame...barbed wire? c'mon. again not a big deal, though, because the decal gets covered by the goggle strap.

Helmet itself fits and feels great, but the ear guards are painful. They create so much pressure on the ear that after an hour or so it becomes unbearable and you have to lift them by bending them. Unfortunately they are constructed properly and the flaps bend right back. Taking out the ear covers isn't an option because the helmet then just looks ridiculous.
If you can get past the discomfort, you've got a great helmet.

    Comments about Red Mutiny Helmet:

I've had several helmets before, broken a few of them from hard crashes. Taken a few nasty spills with this helmet and have never seen a dent. Easy to adjust and fit with removable liners. Stylish lip on the front, makes it look super sexy with some big goggles. A great helmet.

Great helmet that looks stylish and keeps my head warm in those cold days up at the top. Best part is that it has the ability to remove the ear pieces for those warm spring days and still have the ability to be protected. I bought another one for my fiance because i was so impressed with it.

plenty of ski days. This helmet is roomy,
I bought a size large and it is big enough for a beanie under it. there is little to no ventilation, but I don't feel it is too hot. The bill is different for people who aren't used to pulling goggles down, so try it out first

              Comments about Red Mutiny Helmet:

This helmet is pretty legit. i bought it for a good price on evo, and i took it to mt high all the time. it's taken multiple hard hits from 10 to 20 to 30 footers. it can get slightly hot on the warmer days but other than that, it's an amazing helmet. if you're looking for a good affordable helmet, this is the one to purchase.
