I never liked helmets in my 13 years of snowboarding but my wife begged me to get one before our trip to Jackson Hole in Feb 2006. I agreed but I wanted very light weight and something different looking than the usual black/red/white hard plastic shell. I found the Red Hi Fi super lightweight helmet with cool Hunter Green Plaid outer cover (it's actually made of fabric!). After looking all over, [...]I got it the day before we left for the trip! I was originally going to only wear it when we hiked to the expert bowls but it was so lightweight that I wore it everywhere. I used it in the pipe & park and I have to admit it gave me some extra confidence hitting the 50 ft table top in the park. We also hiked above the lifts to the upper bowls and ski area boundary a lot because there was always powder there. I don't have any pictures from the park because we only took video but I have attached a couple of pictures from the back country which show the helmet on me. Check out the green goggles that match! Maybe my tastes are weird, but I really like the plaid! Jackson Hole is an awesome resort and the helmet made it even better!

So light weight and comfortable you don't even feel it. I only noticed it on a particularly warm day riding up the chairlift. That's pretty good considering it doesn't have very many vents compared to other helmets. This is the helmet that I feel doesn't compromise anything over the comfort of a beanie.

This Helmet Provides really awesome...well EVERYTHING! The sound from the speakers is amazing, it's warm, it fits really well, and it really has full protection. there is a goggle clip on the back, comes with stickers, this helmet is the best. choose hi-fi because you really can't go wrong.

This is a sick helmet! It is so freakin light and looks awsome. It comes with a goggle strip which is an insulated pad that hangs below the front line of the helmet for you goggles to rest on so on those cold windy days you dont get a brain freeze from the air blowing between your goggles and your helmet!!! Great feature! This helmet is tough as nails, comfy as a bed pillow, and looks better than most anything on the market. I hope they are still making this helmet when mine dies(though i doubt it ever will) so i can buy another! GOOD FOR COLD DAYS!! It fits a tad big so if you are on the edge buy the smaller one
