Giro Omen Helmet: The Giro Omen Helmet is the most technically advanced snow helmet ever made. Innovation from experience has produced a 14 vent system that gives you complete control for all conditions. Couple this with Giro’s In Form fit system and the backcountry has never been so comfortable.
Vents
14 Wind Tunnel™ vents with Dual Thermostat™ control: Thermostat ™ ventilation control allows you to custom tune airflow instantly with a simple, low profile control button on the outside of the helmet. No other system is faster or easier to adjust, and nothing is more effective at keeping you comfortable
Wind Tunnel™ ventilation combines active vents with exhaust channels in the helmet’s liner that pull cool, fresh air over and around your head while forcing stale, warm air out. It’s the ultimate cooling system, with performance that you can feel every time you ride.
Goggle Compatibility
You can easily fit a pair of goggles over or under the Giro Encore 2 Helmet.
Adjustability
The In Form™ fit system makes it easy to dial in a custom fit in seconds – even with gloves on. An ergo-friendly dial at the base of the helmet provides up to 6cm of adjustment and enhanced stability while the vertical tuning feature accommodates different goggles and head shapes for a custom fit, free of gaper gap.
Additional Features
Compatible with all after market TuneUps systems
In-mold construction: fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet’s impact absorbing foam liner. The fusion process allows Giro to sculpt better ventilation systems, so In-mold helmets can be lighter and cooler than traditional helmets
Super Fit™ Engineering is the foundation of Giro’s product design process. Every new Giro product is designed with reference to their database of anatomic measurements and rider input. They then test the design repeatedly in the lab and in the hands of riders so they can gather feedback and make refinements to create a final product that fits and performs at the highest level
X-Static® is a fiber made with a layer of pure silver, which is permanently bonded to the surface of a textile fiber. It is an antimicrobial fiber that is 100% natural that helps to reduce odor and regulate heat

    Comments about Giro Omen Helmet:

    I once was a fool
On the slopes didn't look cool
    Of EVO I didn't know
    Thus didn't look a pro

    Soon EVO I did discover
    And my image indeed recovered
    When through them I acquired
The GIRO OMEN my head attired

    So cool I now look
No more risks have I took
Since GIRO OMEN crowned my head
Safe and trendy I am instead.

      Comments about Giro Omen Helmet:

Overall great helmet. Took a few try to find a set of googles that fit well with the helmet. If you wear larger googles you may have to replace them with a small set. I wear a medium helmet with smaller ladies googles to get a good fit.Smith Google worked for me.

      Comments about Giro Omen Helmet:

I've used this helmet for about three years, for the most part it's been super comfy. The adjustable fit works well, and the vents work great for cooling off when the temps are up or you're hiking. My only complaint is that it's bulky overall due to the vent system, but that's really just a cosmetic issues since it's still a pretty light weight helmet.
