It's always a challenge to get my kids, ages
18 -23) to wear a helmet. My 20-year old in CO saw the benefit when she witnessed a friend taking a nasty fall that was mitigated by a helmet. I bought the Giro Omen for both my daughters. When their older brother saw it he wanted one too. Now all my kids are wearing this great helmet;it's cool enough to be fashionable. The outlet price couldn't be matched anywhere!

I've been skiing over 40 years and never before used a helmet. But last year while waiting in a lift line for a lift that served only double black and extreme territory I noticed I was about the only one not wearing a helmet. I figured that was telling me something, so I bought this Giro from EVO and I love it. It is so comfortable that I pretty much forget I'm wearing it, with the vents closed it is a least as warm as the stocking cap I used to wear, yet open the vents for spring skiing and my head stays cool. At the same time, I bought a headphone equiped Giro helmet for my 20 something nephew (who also had never worn a helmet) and he really likes his as well.

Love the adjustments I can make from the back of the helmet. Its light and comfortable for an all day wear. I own Smith I/O goggles and they stayed on perfectly fine. I took couple of nasty falls and it did protected my head.

I wear this helmet teaching kids every day - so I need a helmet that can vent easily, and that I can hear with. This helmet fits, is warm and comfortable, and vents easily. I thought I might need a helmet liner on cold days but it's a bit too snug for the liner and I never felt cold enough to wear one. My only concern is that my goggles - Smith Anthem - do not fit/seal well on the sides of my eyes (near the temple) as the strap around the helmet prohibits good contact on the sides, so there is more airflow and eye dryness than I would like.

Comfortable, great fit - would recommend this to anyone. Giro delivers the best helmets on the market and this is no exception. The optional vents are great and give some welcome fresh air in the spring when it gets warm.
