Giro G10 Helmet 2012: All mountain all the time, the Giro G10 Helmet features a lightweight, low profile shape that makes it the most popular lid on the mountain. The G10 features 14 Super Cool™ vents and Thermostat™ control setting for the most advanced ventilation you'll ever experience. Three ventilation settings and an incredible fit keep your head cool and comfy in all conditions.

14 Super Cool™ vents that pull cool, fresh air into the helmet while pushing heat and stale air out
Thermostat™ control utilizes an interior airflow matrix of 16 vents and channels that direct airflow into 4 external vents that can be opened and closed with a single control tab. The result is a low profile helmet shape, with minimal external vents, that offers up the most effective ventilation control available.

In-Mold construction fuses a tough polycarbonate shell with the helmet’s impact-absorbing foam liner. The fusion process allows Giro to sculpt better ventilation systems, so In-Mold helmets can be lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.

      I love this helmet. There's a wheel in the back to adjust the fit all around my head. It's as if it is custom made for each individual head. There's a wheel on the top to adjust the amount of airflow into the helmet. It can be adjusted to no air, a lot of air an anywhere in between. The tilt can be adjusted to fit goggles, but I adjusted it back as far as I could and I barely got my goggles on comfortably.

                This is the first helmet I bought, so I don't have much to compare it to. I bought it for skiing, and although I have not used it on slopes yet, it seems to fit great, is very light in weight, and allows you to adjust the size a bit. I plan to either bring music or walkie talkies, and it has headphone slots built into the helmet, which will be great for that. Looking forward to testing it out on the slopes, but so far it seems like a great buy.

                            The chin strap design could be improved, and is better on some other Giro helmets, but this is just a small detail on an otherwise great helmet. It's worth the extra money for adjustable venting via the switch on top. Feels like a 5 F degree adjustment.

                                  Second season with this helmet and love it. Vents are perfect for all times of the day and weather. I get hot quickly and find myself leaving the vents open most of the time. Nice to know I can close them up when it's cold. No need for a thermal/wicking hat underneath. Helmet keeps me warm when it is freezing out.
